Children and Youth Collaborative Services (CYCS)

Outpatient Services Includes crisis intervention, assessment/referral, individual/group therapy, medication support and case management. Outpatient clinics may serve children, youth, adults and older adults. You may visit or call a location for more information. San Bernardino County, Children's Network, Child Abuse Prevention

What is the Child Abuse Prevention Council? A Child Abuse Prevention Council (CAPC) is an organization that works to move the prevention work forward at the community level. They function as the catalyst, convener, and coordinator of the countywide activities and approach to prevent child abuse. CAPCs focus on bringing together county and community partners to work in unity because not one system or entity can prevent child abuse. CAPCs focus on: Promoting community engagement to protect children and reduce rates of child abuse. A collaborative approach to developing traditional and non-traditional partnerships for reducing child maltreatment. Developing prevention efforts through public awareness and education.

ELD Video Series

The California Department of Education (CDE) developed a series of videos demonstrating integrated ELD instruction and its related designated ELD instruction during ELA, mathematics, and science. The Integrated and Designated ELD Video Series demonstrates the relationship between the California English Language Development Standards (CA ELD Standards) and the state content standards. When used in tandem, English learner students build English proficiency, refine academic use of English, and access subject area content in transitional kindergarten/kindergarten through grade twelve.

SBCSS eSports is here to assist school sites and districts with specific esports needs leading to successful implementation and student development. The critical thinking, communication and team work required to compete make eSports more than just "playing" video games. Hybrid Cyber Escape Room Experience

Engage students in a fun a creative Cyber Escape room experience where they are able to incorporate critical thinking, collaboration, problem solving, and communication skills as they work through a cybersecurity learning experience. As part of the Inland Empire Cyber-Security Initiative (IECI) led by Cal State San Bernardino (CSUSB), San Bernardino County - Alliance for Education was funded to promote cyber-related skills and cyber career awareness for upper elementary & middle school students over 2 years. The idea of the Cyber Escape Room facilitated this objective in a fun, and age-appropriate manner. In collaboration with SBCSS Digital Learning Services, the Cyber Escape Room came to fruition.

CSUSB: Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art

The Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art has accumulated a collection of close to 1,500 objects focusing on ceramics, ancient and contemporary art; the largest of which includes some 700 artifacts encompassing over 4,000 years of Egyptian history. With nearly 6,000 square feet of gallery space, a portion of the museum's permanent collection is on continuous display as well as a dynamic schedule of visiting exhibitions.
